We would like to invite college athletic coaches and their spouse into Changing Tides Cottage, which is nestled in the Live Oak Trees of the quiet and historic community of Hog Hammock on Sapelo Island, GA. Sapelo Island is a very special place that our family holds dear to our hearts.

We have a deep appreciation for wildlife in its natural habitat and enjoy the beauties that come along with an untouched and protected environment. We have always enjoyed time spent together away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Although, the coaching world is extremely rewarding, it can also be a roller coaster and taxing on family life. 

Please join Coach Chad Lunsford and his spouse Tippy, on this remote island getaway that is designed to encourage coaches and their spouse in faith, family, and college athletics. We hope to share a piece of this special place with you. It’s been many months in the making, but we feel we have finally arrived in allowing a long time dream to come true.  Being able to host a College Coaches Retreat Experience is such a blessing and an enormous amount of fun! We are extremely passionate about Sapelo and about sharing God’s word.

Just as the tides change from high to low, so will your stress level as you relax into a peaceful sanctuary of Sapelo Island.  What better environment to be surrounded in as together we discuss the impact of the college sports life on family, share powerful testimonies, Renew Our Minds & Find our Identity in Christ, dive into God’s Word, and grow closer to Him?
